TRACES – Transdisciplinary Center for Exhibition Studies
Lecture Series, Summer Semester 2026
Research Station on Lutherplatz
The Transdisciplinary Center for Exhibition Studies (TRACES) invites you to a public lecture series on topics related to exhibiting, remembering, researching, curating, and designing.
The series is intended as an open forum for exchange between the university, the art academy, and the public. With this in mind, the invited speakers were selected in close consultation with faculty members from the University and the Kassel Academy of Fine Arts in connection with specific courses.
National and international guests from the fields of visual arts, design, exhibition practice, theater, art history, and curatorial theory will provide insights into their working methods, research questions, and creative perspectives. This creates a transdisciplinary program that explores the practice of exhibiting from diverse perspectives.
All lectures take place on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. at the TRACES Research Station on Lutherplatz. Admission is free; all interested parties are warmly welcome.
